March/April 2007	Steelhead trout sculptures will be available for the artists.

May 11, 2007	Steelhead Trout Preview Party (stay tuned!)

2006 Project Description
Artists were provided with Steelhead Trout sculptures approximately 5-feet long. The trout are made of fiberglass and positioned horizontally on a steel pole, then secured to a steel base.

The Steelhead Festival Public Art Exhibit began the third week of February. The steelhead sculptures were displayed on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara from February to April 2006. Sculptures not sponsored at the highest level were auctioned off in July, 2006. All proceeds benefitted future watershed restoration and fish passage improvement projects through the Community Environmental Council, a 501(c)3 non-profit environmental organization.
